The use of dual throttle line on motorcycles is not the patent of EFI models. In the carburetor era, some models have already adopted this design. The reasons for adopting this design are as follows.
1. Improve the performance. In order to improve the acceleration performance of some models, an acceleration pump will be installed next to the Motorcycle Carburetor. When the vehicle accelerates sharply, the acceleration pump will work to inject fuel into the cylinder to improve the explosive force of the engine, so as to achieve instant acceleration.
2. Auxiliary starting. This design is relatively rare. It uses double oil valves to realize the function of starting by using the throttle.
3. Protection function. The double throttle is designed to protect the motorcycle from galloping. Generally, the single throttle cable, whether plunger or throttle, falls freely. That is to say, the plunger will automatically return under the pressure of the spring at the moment of releasing the throttle, and the double throttle cable can force it to return, so as to avoid galloping due to poor return and slow speed drop.
