Self-tapping Screw, also known as self-tapping nail, is a kind of threaded nail with self-tapping and locking functions. It can tap and drill out the matching female thread in metal or non-metal materials by itself without the need to pre-tap the threaded hole, greatly improving the installation efficiency.

Materials

Carbon Steel: It is a commonly used material with high strength and good toughness. After carburizing treatment, it has high surface hardness and strong wear resistance.

Dimensions

Diameter: Self-tapping screws come in a variety of diameter specifications. Commonly seen nominal sizes include T1.2, T1.4, T1.6, T1.7, T2.0, etc., with corresponding different ranges of outer diameters and inner diameters.
Length: There are diverse length specifications. For example, the length of a self-tapping screw with a nominal size of T1.2 is 2.5 - 6 mm, and that of T2.0 is 3 - 15 mm.

Threads per Inch: The common levels of the number of threads per inch in length are 14, 16, and 24.
