Sealed-in lithium battery
The lithium cell is sealed in at the factory and sized for the alarm's full 10-year service life — nothing to swap, and nothing that can be pulled out or left uninstalled.
Digital LCD display
The screen reports the current CO concentration in ppm and refreshes every 15 seconds, so the reading reflects what's in the room right now.
Peak level memory
The display can call up the highest concentration recorded since the last reset — useful for understanding what happened while no one was watching.
Auto-activation
Mount it on the bracket and it starts monitoring on its own, with no separate power-on step.
Test/Menu button
The same button verifies the alarm is working correctly and mutes it when needed.
How an electrochemical sensor reads CO
The Figaro electrochemical sensor lets carbon monoxide react at an internal electrode. That reaction produces a small electrical current proportional to the CO concentration in the air, which the alarm converts directly into the ppm figure on the display.
Faster response, higher concentration
The alarm's response time is graded to the concentration it detects — low readings are logged without an immediate alarm, while dangerous levels trigger a response within minutes.
