Rotational Moulded Plastic Stool Chair for Outdoor Furniture
Description
Overview
Product Description

One piece rotationally moulded chair made by rotational moulding process, material is UV stablized PE, suitable for outdoor and indoor use. Rotomolded furniture is structurally robust, dent resistant and can not rust. More durable, easy to clean, fire retardant, chemically resistant and with round corners which is more safe for kids. Now days, most outdoor and indoor furnitures made by rotional moulding process. Rotational moulding is a process used to manufacture hollow plastic products from simple to very complex shapes.
Rotational molding has many advantages in terms of relatively low levels of residual stresses and inexpensive molds. Rotational molding also has few competitors for the production of large (> 2 m3) hollow objects in one piece. The process is best known for the manufacture of rainwater tanks but it can also be used to make complex medical products, toys, leisure craft, and highly aesthetic point-of-sale products. The rotomoulding process transforms plastic from either powder, pellet or liquid form into products in four major steps. The mould is heated, rotation takes place on two axis, the mould is cooled and emptied then refilled for the next cycle. Major international designers have use rotational moulding to produce stunning products for hundreds of different sectors.

Advantages of Rotatioal Molding:
Rotational Molding offers several advantages, including design flexibility, cost-effectiveness and durability. It allows for the creation of complex shapes and large parts, with consistent wall thickness and minimal material waste. Additionally, it's a relatively low-cost process with short lead times, making it suitable for both prototyping and production runs.
Here's a more detailed look at the benefits:
- Design Flexibility: Complex Shapes: Rotational molding can create intricate and complex designs that would be difficult or impossible with other molding processes. Large Parts: It's well-suited for producing large, hollow products like fuel tanks, kayaks, and containers. Seamless Construction: The process results in seamless parts, eliminating weak points like weld lines and pinch-off seams, enhancing durability. Customization: Features like reinforced ribs, metal inserts, and molded-in graphics can be incorporated.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Low Tooling Costs: Rotational molding requires less expensive tooling compared to other molding methods like injection molding. Reduced Material Waste: The process minimizes material waste, contributing to cost savings. Fast Lead Times: Rotational molding often requires less lead time, making it ideal for projects with tight deadlines. Prototype and Low Volume Production: It's a cost-effective option for both prototyping and smaller production runs.
- Durability and Strength: Consistent Wall Thickness: The even distribution of material during rotation ensures uniform wall thickness, contributing to overall product strength and durability. Stress-Free Parts: The process minimizes stress points in the finished product, making it more resistant to cracking and failure. Impact Resistance: Rotational molded parts are often highly impact-resistant, making them suitable for demanding applications. Corrosion and Weathering Resistance: Many materials used in rotational molding are naturally resistant to corrosion and weathering.
- Other Advantages: Material Versatility: A wide range of materials can be used, including polyethylene, polypropylene, and nylon. Sustainability: The process can be environmentally friendly, especially when using recyclable materials like polyethylene. Ease of Recycling: Many plastics used in rotational molding, like polyethylene, are easily recyclable.
