Description
Oil-Immersed Transformer is a type of power transformer that uses insulating oil as the cooling and insulating medium. Its core and winding are completely immersed in the insulating oil sealed in the tank. During operation, the heat generated by the core and winding is transferred to the insulating oil; the heated oil circulates (naturally or forcedly) to the tank wall or cooling fins, and then dissipates heat to the air, realizing temperature control of the transformer. It is widely used in power transmission and distribution systems (high/medium/low voltage, typically 10kV-220kV, capacity 50KVA-20MVA) due to its advantages of mature technology, high insulation strength, and good heat dissipation performance.
