Description
Dry-Type Transformer is a type of power transformer that uses air or inert gas as the cooling medium (instead of insulating oil) and relies on natural air convection or forced air cooling for heat dissipation. Its core and winding are encapsulated with high-insulation materials (such as epoxy resin), which can effectively isolate moisture, dust, and mechanical damage while ensuring electrical insulation performance. It is mainly applied to low-to-medium voltage distribution systems (typically 0.4kV-10kV, capacity 50KVA-2500KVA) in scenarios with strict fire safety requirements, such as high-rise buildings, hospitals, data centers, and indoor industrial workshops.
